Stay alert the Crown Band is cooking......

Four boys from high school, one Rockquest stage in Auckland, and a whole lot of drive. That is the story of The Crown Band, now based in Ōtautahi, where they have been cooking up and creating amazing sound, beyond their high school days. 

Starting out doing covers. The Crown Band quickly proved they were no longer content just rehashing old hits. They have made a name for themselves in the indie rock scene

What is cool about them is how natural it feels. Kōkakos' day show had the chance to sit down with them and hear a live performance. They are still young, but the lyrics show maturity beyond their years. Playing in Ōtautahi’s thriving music scene has helped them create a name for themselves.
