"Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift, that's why it's called the present."-oogway (Kung fu panda)

I’m a passionate and determined person with a deep love for radio and digital media. Life has thrown its fair share of challenges my way, but they've helped build my resilience and shaped me into a creative thinker and problem-solver.

My love for radio started young —listening to Jase & PJ on ZM during the car rides to swimming. Their humour, chemistry, and ability to create vivid images through the theatre of the mind made every show feel alive. It wasn’t just background noise—it was an experience. Meeting PJ in person this year was a full-circle moment that reminded me exactly why I fell in love with this industry.

In 2023, I hosted my own show at Wellington Access Radio, where I began building my skills in content creation, audio editing, time management, and working under pressure. This year, I joined both the digital and promotions teams for Kōkako, where I’ve continued to grow—developing my skills in social media, branding, audience engagement, and on-the-ground event promotion. I genuinely enjoy using digital tools, from editing and creating visuals to writing articles. I have a strong passion for sports—especially Formula 1—which gave me the opportunity to attend the 2023 Singapore Grand Prix, where my love for motorsports has only grown.

Working on content has taught me so much about audience behaviour—especially P1 listeners. I’ve learned how to spot trends, tailor stories, and make content that really connects. Those insights have helped me build stronger connections, both professionally and personally.

To the company that chooses me: you’re not just getting another intern. You’re getting someone who shows up with passion, purpose, and a hunger to learn. As Lin-Manuel Miranda says in Hamilton, “If you get skin in the game, you stay in the game, but you don’t get a win unless you play in the game.” I’m ready to contribute, grow, and give 100% every step of the way. My story isn’t just beginning—it’s ready to make an impact.
